Day 1 of 5 Days of Reflection, Celebration and Creating Your Future

Welcome to DAY 1: 2020 Celebrations

Welcome to DAY 1: 2020 Celebrations

TO ALL THE PROCRASTINATORS OUT THERE…

If you haven’t done any 2020 reflections or 2021 planning, it’s all GOOD. If you did all the reflecting last December because you’re in my email community, awesome. If you forgot, here’s your chance. If it’s May 2021 and you’re like, “fine, I guess I’ll reflect.” Welcome.

We’re starting with CELEBRATION. My favorite way to start.

As much as I love fun and celebration, when I’m reflecting, it’s easy for me to look at everything I didn’t do or goals I didn’t meet or things that didn’t happen throughout the year. If I didn’t sit back and force myself to think about it all, I don’t think I would truly value the beautiful moments I might have missed otherwise.

And in 2020, it’s been an even bigger challenge to remember to be grateful. I’ve been lonely, I’ve felt trapped, I’ve felt like a failure many times, and I’ve felt completely helpless.

But this has also been a year of stepping into a new story for myself and The Happy Cactus. I’ve launched two podcasts, a new business, talked to hundreds of incredible, inspirational women in good times and in bad, and gained a support network that didn’t exist last year!

(Please remind me of this the next time you see me feeling down!)

This is why I wanted to give you one of my favorite gifts: 5 Days of Reflection, Celebration, and Creating Your Future.

It’s a little over 30 questions I’ve gathered from books on transition, my own coaching sessions, and my favorite blogs.

So grab a pen and paper (and maybe a loved one to join you IRL or virtually), and let’s get started!

Day 1: 2020 Celebrations

  1. What happened in 2020 that you want to celebrate?

  2. What has given you life this year?

  3. What were your goals this year that you achieved?

  4. What accomplishment are you most proud of?

  5. Were there things you wanted to do but didn’t?

  6. When did you have the most fun?

Please, please take some time to think through these. If you’d like me to hold you accountable, you can email me your responses.
